Paralegal Studies - Paraprofessionals have taken on an increasingly important role in providing legal services. Professionally trained paralegals work in large firms, in corporate legal departments, in banks, or in the offices of individual attorneys. The career of a paralegals proves to be both exciting and challenging. McIntosh College, in conjunction with a team of prominent local attorneys and paralegals, has developed a flexible and comprehensive program in Paralegal Studies. Students are exposed to the academic and technical foundation necessary for a successful career in this exciting field.

All McIntosh paralegal students receive intensive legal course work and a well-balanced curriculum including liberal arts, communications and business courses. McIntosh College students explore opportunities in neighborhood legal service agencies, federal and state court systems, and government offices.

We offer an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice that prepares the student to work in a wide range of public and private service environments. These include law enforcement, probation, insurance, investigation and corrections. This program combines the technical, administrative and interpersonal skills required of the criminal justice professional with a strong foundation in the social, ethical and legal issues which he or she will confront on the job.
